Boat Show, Nardi (Generali Italia): "The nautical sector is the flagship of Made in Italy"

Venice, May 30 (Adnkronos) – "This is a special moment because today the nautical sector represents almost 3 percentage points of the GDP. If we look only at the industrial sector we are talking about 31 thousand workers and if we talk about the supply chain as a whole 190,000 workers. It is an induced effect that is worth more or less 8 billion euros, it is a jewel in the crown of Made in Italy".

Arianna Nardi, marketing manager of Generali Italia, stated this during the round table “The route of value – dialogues on the changing climate and the culture of sustainability”, promoted by Generali at the Arsenale and held as part of the Venice Boat Show.

Generali Italia returns to the Venice Boat Show, a presence that reaffirms its connection with the sea. “Generali’s insurance work begins right from the sea,” explains Nardi, “from the protection of merchants and sailing. Generali was founded in Trieste in 1831 and after a few years acquired its headquarters in Venice. Being at the Venice Boat Show is an important moment for Generali, whose ambition is to be a lifelong partner for families and businesses in the country. We do this every day with our 28,000 consultants and agents in the area who are close to the community. Protecting these small and medium-sized businesses in the sector means protecting jobs, operational continuity, people and families.”
